Hired Ms. Labayen to handle a breech of the automatic stay that occurred during my bankruptcy proceedings with another attorney. Ms. Labayen wrote a settlement agreement that misidentified the opposing party, misidentified the property and wrote that the laws of the State of New Jersey would apply fo...r a judgment and property which resided in Georgia. Upon questioning of these facts she claimed there was nothing wrong and insisted I sign it. If I did not check every aspect of her work I would have signed a completely unenforceable settlement agreement. Was only able to satisfactorily settle the case after her services were terminated.

When the private school I founded failed, Mrs. Labayen was able to sort through all the legal issues of closing the school and dealing with the creditors. She did all she could to keep me from losing my home as I had put it up for collateral.
