WHAT AN OUTSTANDING ATTORNEY!!! I'd been living paycheck to paycheck for a few years, okay with "paying-as-I-go" until that "WTF"!? moment when the Vet told me how much it would cost to operate on my dog's Perennial Hernia. Unbelievable. So, as doing nothing wasn't an option, -I maxed out my cred...it cards, short-changed my creditors, and begged-borrowed what was necessary to help the pooch. Before Michelle, I could not see my way out of receiving my degree. After all the school put me through I felt so helpless. Hired Ms. Labayen to handle a breech of the automatic stay that occurred during my bankruptcy proceedings with another attorney. Ms. Labayen wrote a settlement agreement that misidentified the opposing party, misidentified the property and wrote that the laws of the State of New Jersey would apply fo...r a judgment and property which resided in Georgia. Upon questioning of these facts she claimed there was nothing wrong and insisted I sign it. If I did not check every aspect of her work I would have signed a completely unenforceable settlement agreement. Was only able to satisfactorily settle the case after her services were terminated.
