Best Attorney!

I was in removal proceedings and had a very difficult case. Many lawyers did not want to take my case on. I had switched 3 lawyers in the process. Thankfully to Paul's professionalism, I was able to keep my green card. I could not recommend more to hire this attorney!!!

Best Immigration Lawyer in NY

I had the unfortunate fate of being detained by ICE or the immigration authorities recently and while in detention consulted with a lawyer who advised me to voluntarily accept deportation and that he would get me back to the US and my family with six months. He said this because he believed that I wo...uld be detained for a year or longer. Such a suggestion of leaving the US did not sit well with me and the thought of separation from my children, in another country, seemed unbearable. As a result I immediately went looking for a new immigration attorney and found Paul Grotas. On my first meeting with Paul he put me at complete ease and reassured me that he would have me out in no time and on follow up meetings the same message was conveyed to me. This positive response that I got from Paul really put my heart, mind and soul in a peaceful state. As it tuned out he was also representing other detainees whom had a similar high regard for him and the news was that he was getting people out of jail and back to their families. My case had complications but nevertheless on the first court appearance that I had( three weeks later) he was able to skillfully get me released. I can't thank him enough nor can my family.

My son-in-law was behind an 8ball and facing almost certain deportation to El Salvador. This would've been a death sentence due to gang threats made to he and his family. He was held in New York/New Jersey and we were in Denver. Two other lawyers had agreed to take the case but did nothing excep...t take several thousands of dollars and file no court documents. I talked with a friend whose brother knew and recommended Paul. We were very impressed with Paul's attitude from the start. Even though other attorneys had said that there was no chance of our son-in-law avoiding a deportation order, Paul agreed to take the case. From the start there was frequent and open communications between Paul, our daughter and me. After several court appearances which included lengthy testimony from my son-in-law, my daughter and me we had to await the court's decision which took several months. Paul maintained contact with and updated us frequently. Finally the decision was in. Although complete amnesty wasn't granted, our son-in-law was allowed to stay in the United States and return to his family in Colorado. His one and a half year old daughter was finally able to meet her dad. Without Paul's knowledge of the law and his perseverance through out this procedure I feel that a deportation order would've issued. THANK YOU PAUL!!!!!
