Tsui H. Yee

My name is Habib, and I had an application for a green card that was pending with Immigration since 1998. After 15 years of meeting with all types of lawyers, none of who could help me, I finally met Ms. Tsui Yee in August 2012. I was recommended to her by an immigration office at York College in Qu...eens, NY. The first time I met with her, I was immediately comfortable with her because she took the time to explain all the issues and complications in my case. I had a very difficult immigration case that required a hardship waiver to be approved. I explained to Ms. Yee that I had a very sick daughter who would suffer tremendously if I could not stay in the U.S. Tsui prepared the waiver application, represented me at my immigration interview, and followed up with Immigration for months after the interview until my case was approved. After waiting for 15 years with no word from Immigration, it just took her 10 to 12 months to resolve all my issues and I now have my Green Card. My immigration lawyer was Tsui H.Yee who did a tremendous amount of work to get my case approved. Tsui is an 'angel' lawyer. In March 2011, I went to see a Chinese lawyer in Flushing, NY. He w...as very bad - tried to induce me to pay him, but once I paid him to perform legal work, he claimed that I only paid him a consultation fee and that I needed to pay him more. He was such a terrible lawyer, that I was ashamed that he was Chinese and taking advantage of Chinese clients. In May 2011, I met with Tsui to discuss my case. Tsui helped me to apply for a green card, and encouraged me throughout the process. Ten months after my case was filed, I received a work permit. Fifteen months later, I received my ten-year green card. Tsui is honest and has a wealth of knowledge and experience in immigration law. She is very responsive, and always answered all of my questions by e-mail and telephone. She is a trusted professional, is excellent at communication with clients, and I feel as if she is my friend. My case involved emotional abuse; I was married for eight years to a very controlling spouse, and I was trapped in marriage that was dysfunctional and broken. Applying for a green card as a battered spouse involves a certain degree of difficulty. Tsui kept me informed about each stage of the case. I completely trusted her, and am very satisfied and happy with the outcome. Tsui has outstanding personal qualities, and is the best lawyer I have ever dealt with.
