So dishonest. You do end up paying more then the amount you owe due to all of their fees. They make sure they collect the savings on the backside so therefore you save nothing. Poor communication. I’m buying a home & my loan officer said my credit report showed the accounts that Gitmeid negotiated & closed were not reported to the credit bureau. Now, they’re tell me “oh, we’re reaching out to them.” They are all aways “reaching out” to someone. When you are almost done paying off your de...bt they drag their feet to keep you as customer. Awful company

Gitmeid did settle a couple of accounts; however, for the last few accounts they started stretching things out so they could bill more fees and then tried to sell us a service to finance the balances when we had access to funds to pay the settlements. We continued to ask Gitmeid to pay the claims but... they didn't for almost a year so we were kind of stuck. Better off negotiating with your creditors yourself or hiring an attorney you know to reach settlements. Buyer Beware-caveat emptor!
