Biography
Nicholas G. Kaizer is a partner in Levitt & Kaizer and has been a practicing attorney in New York since 1988. He graduated from Boston University, and then pursued a juris doctorate from University of Miami School of Law. After graduation, Mr. Kaizer practiced law in Miami before returning to New York, where he currently specializes in criminal defense litigation. A nationally recognized expert in criminal defense and the United States Sentencing Guidelines, he has lectured attorneys and judges on the federal Sentencing Guidelines .
Mr. Kaizer also practices federal and state civil litigation, specializing in complex litigation. Mr. Kaizer is admitted in New York, Florida and the District of Columbia, as well as in the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York, the Southern District of Florida and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second and Eleventh Circuits. Based upon the breadth and depth of his legal expertise, he has been admitted provisionally in numerous other jurisdictions. Mr. Kaizer has written articles for legal periodicals concerning defense in criminal matters and has contributed to several of Richard Levitt's annual Second Circuit Criminal Law Updates.
