When I was arrested, my sister had called a closed friend who was a lawyer for a recommendation for a criminal lawyer as a last resort. She did not know how to tell him I wa...s in trouble. Prior to this, she called three lawyers. These lawyers wanted a significant amount of money for a retainer which my family did not have.
