I hired Edgar Rivera to represent me in a discrimination suit. From the initial consultation, through the entire preparation phase and up to and including the conclusion (which was very favorable to me), he was the epitome of professionalism: intelligent, very knowledgeable about the subject matter,... very respectful, courteous and reliable. Whenever I contacted him, whether via e-mail or telephone, he always responded almost immediately. Even after the suit ended in my favor months before, I had to contact him regarding an urgent matter related to the suit. It was on a weekend and I emphasized that it could wait until Monday, during business hours to address, but nonetheless, he responded to my e-mail within minutes and even cc:d me on an e-mail he sent immediately to the person who would be able to eradicate the problem. Edgar Rivera took on my difficult case, and throughout the process was kind, caring, and very patient. The office is in an extremely nice part of Manhattan, and the entire staff, from the receptionist to the partner I met, was very professional and helpful. This is a stand-up firm, honest and ethical.... I was glad I came here. Mr. Rivera was always reachable and always glad to answer any questions I had throughout the long process of my case. I would highly recommend this firm. In the end, I would have liked to have gotten more money (the case was settled) as compared to the amount we initially asked for, but I was lucky they took it on, as it was not an easy case, and they worked long and hard on it.
