Glen Nicholas Raj provides counsel on corporate immigration matters, strategic allocation development, and general immigration concerns. His professional journey began with the City of Chicago’s Department of Cultural Affairs, where he managed press releases, devised marketing strategies, and coordinated city-sponsored events.
After earning his law degree, he clerked for the Honorable Judge Sheldon Gardner before joining the Office of the Chief Judge for the Circuit Court of Cook County in Chicago. In that capacity, he worked on appellate reviews related to taxation and commercial litigation, focusing on contract disputes and corporate claims. He later transitioned to Update Incorporated’s New York headquarters, where he established an attorney secondment practice for Fortune 500 corporations and investment banks in the region.
Beyond his legal work, Glen has held leadership positions in various advocacy organizations. He served as a director for the Alliance for the Advancement for Equal Rights and Equality Alliance and was a Committee Chairperson for the Chicago Bar Association YLS. He is also a board member of Global Safe House, an organization dedicated to providing shelter and assistance to asylum seekers worldwide.

Fiance visa
I hired this lawyer 4 years ago and paid him in full and he didn, t do nothing yet for me and most of time doesn, t answer me on the phone and messages. I wanna my money back
Well, phrased in this way, this just sounds horrible. But here are the facts: This client initially hired us for a Green Card Petition based on his marriage. But alas, THE documentation required for this petition simply did not exist. And we notified him as such, and after his petitions were drafted. Sometime after, he requested that we pursue a Fiance visa instead, to which we agreed, at no additional cost. After reviewing the documents needed for a fiance visa, we declined to move forward on the petition. State Bars mandate how client monies should be returned. In this case, after a bit of coaxing, this client's fee was returned to him. With documentation :) Good luck.
