I got my start in business immigration working for the Research Foundation of the City University of New York (RFCUNY) as the Assistant Director of Human Resources. It this capacity I performed a number of typical HR functions, such as collective bargaining and counseling supervisors on employee issues. But the part of the position that I enjoyed the most, and devoted the most of myself to, was overseeing RFCUNY's immigration matters (processing nonimmigrant and immigrant visa petitions). It was this immense enjoyment of the field that pushed me into private practice as an immigration attorney, practicing solely immigration law.
On a more personal note, I am an avid runner, running numerous NYRR races include two half marathons. I also enjoy cycling and often ride my bike to my office.

I run an educational center with a substantial staff, based in a large university. Over the past 3 years, Victoria Donoghue has represented three members of my staff as they successfully applied for H1-B and green card status. I've been involved in the process for all three. Her guidance has been ...
