A smooth, clear journey to Green Card

It was a pleasure to work with Victoria. Since our first consultation, the information she provided was clear and concise. She is very friendly and easy to talk to. We evaluated all pros and cons of my situation, and she instructed me on how to proceed to gather the required documentation. She pre...pared and filed the petitions E140 and E485 (EB1-outstanding researcher) on my behalf. She followed up timely to two RFEs that came through. Altogether, I was able to receive my green card in six months.

Professional, Thoughtfull and Skillful

I hired Victoria for applying my and my wife's green card. She helped us prepared almost everything, including the application forms, evidences, recommendation letters, organizing the documents..... She is a very nice people to work with. She responded often very fast, and kept me informed in time. I...t totally took about 8 months before we got our green cards after the submission. Besides, the price for the service was very fair. I am really glad that I chose her.

Victoria is a wonderful immigration lawyer from the first day she took my case on. She is always responsive and keeps me informed with the updates. If you are choosing an immigration lawyer, you should certainly consider Victoria.

An extremely competent attorney who genuinely cares about her clients

Ms. Donoghue offered to take my case when things seemed extremely bleak. CIS had erroneously denied my I-485 (adjustment of status) petition and consequently I was in danger of accruing “unlawful presence” time. Ms. Donoghue worked tirelessly and diligently to overturn previous denials and affec...t a positive outcome for my case. She successfully recaptured my H1B and eliminated the possibility of me accruing “unlawful presence” time. Through out that confusing and demoralizing process, she gave me tremendous hope and encouragement. She routinely kept me apprised of new developments and made herself extremely accessible to answer questions and concerns. Just knowing that she was handling my case was a great source of relief. Rarely do you meet a lawyer who is not only excellent at what she does, but who is also so concerned about her clients, that she takes their issues personally. Based on my experience, I can honestly say that she is not motivated by fees; she’s motivated by improving her clients’ lives by fighting for justice on their behalf. Working with her was a wonderful experience and I feel extremely confident recommending her to anyone.

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
