God-sent Lawyer When my unmarried sister passed away in the United States, I was left to deal with what she left behind, including her finances. I arrived just a few days before she died and knew no one. Needless to say, it was very stressful. I had limited resources, a senior and a foreigner un...familiar with the United States, and what I thought would be a simple process turned out to be a complicated one as there were changes to her insurance beneficiaries and a last-minute will named her boyfriend as executor. We are a LBGTQ couple and got married last Nov. 10, 2016. We hired a different lawyer and thought all the while we would not encounter problems as the removal of condition should be a simple matter. However, we received a Request for Evidence (RFE) and therefore the petition was not immediately appro...ved. I was consulting Lara Gregory on the preparation of a will but when she started asking questions she immediately realized that it was an immigration-related matter. She asked to read the letter from USCIS and immediately after reading the same she was able to identify what the issue was that kept the petition from approval, specifically the lack of affidavit/s from other people. In short, Ms. Gregory guided us and told us to ask two (2) individuals who know our love story to attest to the facts of our relationship. She prepared the affidavits, both of which were beautifully written, very personal, and captured our story. She also analyzed the documents that would help us secure approval and patiently checked all the requirements. She was always helpful whenever we had questions and showed genuine concern. Finally, a few weeks after submitting the response to the Request for Evidence, my wife received her 10 year permanent resident card. I have hired Lara Gregory to compile and submit my response to CSC to the RFE letter I have received upon my L1 VISA petition. I have paid her retainer in advance. To my greatest surprise she failed compiling the response in time and once I started questioning her she simply terminated our relationsh...ip and stopped working on my case.
