Brilliant and Dedicated!!

For years, I was working in an abusive and discriminatory environment. I was expected to perform the same duties as my colleagues at a lower salary and rank. Speaking up only got me into deeper trouble; my supervisor began to write things about me in my performance reviews that were untrue, and her ...supervisor began to bully me. Being at work became so stressful that I eventually had to see a therapist. I lost interest in social activities and the life outside of my job. I became very depressed. Eventually, it was anger that motivated me into taking legal action. Finding the right attorney was an intimidating experience. What initially drew me to Bonnaig & Associates were some of the testimonials from its former clients who had experienced problems much like my own and who were your everyday, honest and hard-working people like myself. Each case was unique and not just a number. I felt I had come to the right place. My case was not an easy one. It required many hours of hard work from the Bonnaig & Associates team. So much time and effort were devoted to my case that it felt as if I was their only client. I never needed to contact them for updates because they would always follow up with me before I got to them. They were easy to talk to, and any questions or concerns I had were always responded to quickly and courteously. Bonnaig & Associates is a unique team. Denise is a brilliant strategist and Mahima is an attorney with that very rare ability to relate to people of diverse backgrounds. They brought my case to a settlement that was well beyond my expectations. Thanks to Bonnaig & Associates, I feel like a new person today, and it feels extra good to know that the action I took helped others as well. My only regret is that I did not do this sooner.

Thank you Bonnaig & Associates!

March 2015 After diligent research, I found my way to the offices of Bonnaig & Associates when it became clear that I needed legal assistance with my complaint of employer discrimination and hostile work environment. Unfortunately, as is common for many hard working New Yorkers, after 10 years ...of working for my employer, I found myself on the receiving end of a manager who was determined to negate my excellent work record, strong work ethic, professionalism and popularity within the company. I began to receive unwarranted negative appraisals, exclusion from pertinent meetings, on the receiving end of ‘unfounded and questionable’ charges and other demoralizing actions. Additionally, my immediate supervisor blatantly failed to effectively communicate with me preferring email instead of direct contact. As a result of this long-term action, my health and morale began to suffer. At my initial meeting, Ms. Bonnaig and Ms. Joishy displayed empathy, professionalism, a clear and thorough understanding of employee rights, and a no-nonsense approach to my concerns. They assured me that my case was not frivolous and that despite my uncertainty, I had made the right decision to seek assistance. It was clear that my employer, or specifically supervisor, wanted me gone, and went to considerable lengths to achieve that goal. A letter to my employer was promptly drafted and issued notifying them of my complaint. Wow! Needless to say, Ms. Bonnaig and Ms. Joishy worked tirelessly on my behalf and encouraged me along the way, particularly when I experienced bouts of discouragement. Needless to say, Ms. Bonnaig obtained a satisfactory outcome (settlement) that although I no longer work for my former employer, sent a strong message to the company that discrimination, hidden agendas and poor management will not be acceptable or tolerated. If you want a firm that considers the needs of its clients first and foremost and will work hard to support, encourage and fight for your employee rights, then contact the firm of Bonnaig & Associates. It will be one of the best decisions you ever make. New York, NY
