Our second chance at living and loving! Thank you Mr. Cedeno!

Peter L. Cedeno law firm associates came into our life when my children and I needed an outstanding and brilliant lawyer the most! When we needed a second chance at living and loving. I don't think anyone enjoys having to deal with the pain of divorce and separation of assets, accounts, properties, ...other valuable things and most precious of all custody of my children plus child support, the process that is so common to divorce these days, and the very high cost associated with it. One of the only good part of my divorce was having Mr. Peter Cedeno on my side the other was gaining full sole custody of my children and all we asked the court, which we also received. Peter knew exactly what was going on early as I explained certain things to him and that gave me the ability to focus on what I needed to do. We had regular strategy discussions/meetings as needed with the goal of resolving the case as effectively as possible. Mr. Cedeno is only one side of the case, however, the other being so the more difficult opposing lawyers on your ex husband side, the more you need someone level headed and experienced like Mr. Peter Cedeno to get the job done fairly, properly and efficiently. In my experience and that of close friends of mine and people at my company, a number of the divorce attorneys I saw were sharks or tall tale tellers. Mr. Peter Cedeno was professional, ethical, humble and caring, and at times humorous to the point of getting much smiles/laughter out of my children and was also well known in the courtroom. Whenever I asked any legal question, process questions, likely outcome questions at all Mr. Cedeno had the answer for me directly. He was able to share his experience and offer a most likely outcome so that I could decide if I should fight an issue or not based on his advice. In the end, the settlement was essentially what we offered in the first place, it just took my ex that long to realize the promises he was being given by his attorneys were not realistic. My costs were also about less than half of his. I would highly recommend Mr. Peter Cedeno to any unfortunate soul who is facing divorce and need the very best you are able to get to get going at a second chance at living and loving. You will be well taken care of and represented. I wish I could say the process is fair and simple, but that just isn't the case so you need to have someone like Mr. Cedeno on your side. I wholeheartedly recommend him without any reservation.

Grateful! Heaven sent! Brilliant! creme de la creme

The law firm of Peter Cedeno Associates saved me when my life was in shambles, in deep debt, emotionally drained and at my lowest time in my life, very confused, and my child custody was in question by the court based on many false and ugly accusations being presented by my ex husband with his lawyer...s, I was trapped in a contract called marriage that I didn't understand. My dedicated hard life to my ex was going to be used against me in the ugliest and worst possible ways. We had a small business that was generously given to my ex husband hidden 2 year girlfriend and her family. I helped nurture and grow that small business for over 12 years. I needed a divorce, and I needed it yesterday to get our life back. Now I had to get a lawyer, could things get any worse? Yes! I could have foolishly chosen an attorney or firm other than the best Peter Cedeno Associates team. From the beginning they were ready to get to work and tame the savage beast of uncertain helluva divorce and child custody proceedings. I was amicable to doing things cooperatively with the inferno and much drama that my ex husband was throwing at us, but when the outstretched hand was slapped away hard, through no fault of ours, Mr. Peter Cedeno was ready to fight for us! Cooperatively and through aggressive litigation, he was successful at both, it makes no difference to a winner like Mr. Cedeno, he will handle it. Long story short, we were VICTORIOUS TRIUMPHANT AND SUCCESSFUL at all three, the divorce, business separation-division proceedings and custody of my child!!! Thank you ALL at Peter Cedeno and Associates!!

Brilliant and Compassionate

My children's' custody/divorce and joint complex business separation case has been the most trying, exhaustive and draining experience of my life and that of my children. I never thought things can get as horribly dramatically intense as this when you part ways. Apart from the light of my child, ther...e has really been only one other bright spot to the whole experience. Mr, Peter Cedeno. I never (ever!) expected such compassion in a hired premier senior legal counsel. Alternately, Peter never sugar coated the situation and has been my leader, inspiration and true guide on a very complex and time consuming journey. Mr. Cedeno has put me to work mentally, and the work has been hard. But his very matter-of-fact approach to why, and his ability to set the example and pace by working so incredibly hard himself, kept me going. Peter always bought peace, calm and tranquility every time he spoke to us and seeing his outstanding abilities at court. He brought peace of mind to our life at a time we needed it most. An angel from above. Mr. Cedeno explained step by step his strategy and what he expected of us to be able to win. We never felt rushed nor felt it was just a financial gain on his part. Peter was compassionate and wholeheartedly involved as if these were his loving and precious children he wanted custody of. As hard as this has all been, I can't imagine how devastating it would have all felt without this very rare and special person making me feel like they are in my corner from a very genuine place. A most brilliant attorney in the courtroom floor and at negotiating with the system and its complexities. Words escape me to properly express my gratitude for the fact that brilliant lawyers like this really are out there, while rare to find. Mr. Cedeno never cut corners with his efforts and never lost patience with me during a very scattered and overwhelming time in my life. Peter has gone above and beyond for me, to the point of pleasant surprise which is something I so desperately needed going through this! We had a long, extensive child custody trial and he worked brilliantly both in and out of court to reach an outcome in our favor. Again, I'm at a loss to express my gratitude for Peter L. Cedeno & Associates Law Firm world class efforts so instead, I'll recommend Peter and his Firm from the most honest place.... our hearts!.

Outstanding Attorney

When my ex husband took me back to court after 7 years, I turned to Mr. Peter Cedeno and his firm to guide me through the ordeal. I was terrified of how long and how stressful the whole process would be. I have to admit, I have NEVER dealt with a divorce attorney and I must say Mr Cedeno made it very... easy and less painful. He was always compassionate, reassuring, fair, sympathetic, understanding, and logical in every legal/family area he covered with us. I will continue to turn to Mr Cedeno and his firm - his team for any future legal dilemmas. I strongly recommend him and his team to anyone who is confused, afraid or unsure about the sometimes ugly legal process called divorce-separation, custody and financial matters wrap up in very complicated legal-court proceedings.

Best Family Law Attorney in NYC

I was referred to The Firm Peter L. Cedeno & Associates by another high caliber senior attorney that handles our corporate/compliance legal affairs at my company to represent my custody, visitation, and child support modification case of my 4 and 7-year-old boys. Upon my initial consultation, I was t...horoughly impressed with Mr. Cedeno for several reasons. He listened intently to the history surrounding my case, concerns regarding my 2 boys, and reviewed the supporting evidence I provided to substantiate my claims. Mr. Cedeno explained in depth the family laws in the state its precedents of previous cases and identified the pertinent facts warranting the initiation of my case in Superior Court. Throughout the 27 months of my contested custody case, from initiation to the final hearing, Mr. Cedeno never ceased to advocate for me and my boys every step of the way! He exhibited the utmost professionalism/savvy in all correspondences and in the courtroom at each hearing. This was particularly evidenced in the seven-hour long temporary hearing where he presented the facts and remained focused, which resulted in me obtaining full physical custody on a temporary basis. Mr. Cedeno continued to represent me in the highest regard over the next two years and kept me abreast on important updates and information in a timely manner. Ultimately, the temporary order was upheld and I am now the primary physical custodian. I know the outcome of my case would not have resulted in the same success if I hired a different attorney to represent me back in when all started. I entrust Mr. Cedeno expertise for not only matters pertaining to me but to all my family and friends as well.
