Joshua Butnick served myself and my business partner in a breach of contract dispute that transpired over the past year and a half. Over this time, Mr. Butnick was always professional, thorough, knowledgeable and reassuring. He was quick to respond to our e-mails and phone calls and never failed to... instantly inform of communications from the disputing party. Initially, I came to Mr. Butnick after I had been threatened with a lawsuit from a party that I had signed a contract with. Despite a cancellation clause in the contract, the threatening party claimed that I was not allowed to cancel and they would file suite against myself, my business parter in an attempt to claim our personal assets (as we lacked incorporation). As someone who has no legal experience, this was alarming, angering and frightening. Mr. Butnick immediately helped assuage my fears even before I had asked for his services. The peace of mind he offered in those first few days was invaluable. Mr. Butnick was then helpful in responding to the legal threats that we received. He took ample time to listen to our side of the story before drafting responses. He was kind enough to show us each response before they were sent to the opposing party.
