I have worked with Spodek Law Group, specifically Todd and Lidia for the past two years. They jointly handled my divorce/criminal case. I only have good things to say about the firm. They are highly knowledgeable, professional and responsive. The office stays on top of every detail and helped me ha...ve realistic expectations regarding all of the various issues in my case. As anyone going through a divorce knows, it is hourly and the fees add up quickly. Not to mention the court costs and transcripts, etc. The hourly fee here is significantly lower then most firms for partner level work. Plus it is a flat fee for court appearances/trial, I felt this is a much fairer approach. As the situation appeared to get more complex we all sat down to discuss the appropriate next steps. The issue in my case was that we both had significantly high incomes, so we were both paying our own attorneys fees. Todd Spodek exhibited a manner with me that one may expect from a dedicated social worker... always kind and considerate with an obvious devotion to his work. The firm has a team that handles medicaid and food stamp fraud investigations in n NYS. Once hired they immediately canceled the scheduled meeting with the investigator and faxes over a letter of representation, next a claim detail report was uploaded to their online client portal system. I uploaded ...my tax returns, paystubs, mortgage statement and information about some real estate I have an interest in. Next I received a memo detailing the issues and what the recommended course of action was. The work on the case was transparent, and very detailed.
