I recently walked into Michael Discioarro’s office in a complete panic because I was the subject of an investigation with ACS. This investigation was based on lies and completely falsified by the anonymous person who "called ACS in good faith". For me, a Mom, who has never even received a speeding ...ticket or have had any type of allegations brought against me in any way, dealing with the New York State Office of Children and Family Services was completely something new. And let me tell you, quite scary until I met Michael. Instantly upon meeting him, I was confident that he had the experience and dedication to help me fight the allegations against me. I knew after he made the first phone call to the case worker, my four year old daughter and I would no longer be intimidated or threatened by ACS. Michael was available to me via phone and text 24 hours a day. He always answered and/or responded within seconds of me reaching out to him. He advised me through the whole process and explained each and every step ACS would take before they even took it. Within a couple of weeks of hiring Michael, the allegations against me were found to be “unsubstantiated allegations”. I didn’t need the certified letter from ACS to calm me down because I had Michael with me 100% of the way making me feel better. As a parent, having your child threatened is the worst feeling in the world. Knowing that there is someone like Michael Discioarro available to help you through it is a comfort. ACS came to my home around 11pm with police one night ,saying that me and my wife was beating my son woke him up out is sleep to check his entire body .Thay found no marks at all ,at all .two weeks later workers still was fishing in my life ,even telling lies to me and my wife about things we said to... her to each other. Thought hay enough was enough ,called Michael and about two weeks later ??????? not to sure but No more acs .If me or my family ever need legal help best believe I'm calling Michael Discioarro

I was arrested over 3 years ago for DUI. Hired Attorney Michael Discioarro about 1 day after my arrest, as soon as he was available to meet me. Spent over 2 years in court with Attorney Discioarro. Finally got a lessened charge of DWAI misdemeanor not a felony. He is an excellent Attorney, well known... in the courthouse, always ends up knowing the other Attorneys in the courthouse everytime I had to appear. He knows the process and the system really well. He has probably dealt with hundreds of DUI cases. When I first got arrested I was afraid, after dealing with Attorney Discioarro, it became clear to me that it's just all one huge process and hundreds if not thousands of people go through this experience. So I didn't feel so much like a big time loser or criminal. Anyway, I learned my lesson. I no longer drive unless it's work related. Socially, I just take subways, buses or cabs. It's not right to drink and drive. If you don't care about yourself, at least care about other people's lives, especially children that you could potentially hurt by drinking and driving. I went to Mike after getting a surprise call from an ACS person who literally told me she would bring the police and start a formal investigation on my family if I did agree to setup house visit within 24 hours. This sounded like extortion or invasion of privacy instead of a civil discussion with a c...ity agency. After reading about ACS and all the horror stories online I knew I had to protect my familly by hiring Mike. Mike immediately informed the ACS person that they would have to deal with him directly since i was his client. Which was a great relief. When the ACS switched out the agent and attempted a second surprise visit I had Mike on the phone and they were powerless to pull any tricks. Just as Mike instructed after 90 days everything was resolved and the ACS agents left us alone and closed the case.
