I am writing this review for Michael Discioarro, whom I hired to represent me in a hearing against ACS. My final hearing was delayed for an exorbitant amount of time due to the lack of organization, and professionalism of the opposing counsel, and their lack of regard for a positive sense of justice.... However, my lawyer Mr. Discioarro held his ground, and chose to stay and wait with me in lieu of adjourning my case (which would have been the third time in 12 months) because he was sure that we could do an excellent job of presenting ourselves in this particular hearing. His choices were always intelligent, simple, straightforward, and home-runs. You want a lawyer that can deliver!!!!!! The day of the hearing, I had peace of mind because Michael was my lawyer. Someone was going to get through this maze for me, and I was so grateful that Michael was so patient to make it happen, in the best way possible, for my sake. And, I truly believed that he was fighting for me, for justice, and for the truth—that’s a huge thing, and you cannot put a price tag on it. Not everyone is even capable of even fighting for something with such focus, even if it is their job. It takes a huge amount of discipline, skill and desire to prevail. He taught me the power of simplicity in presenting the truth. That’s a lesson I will remember in my life. Hiring Micheal was easily one of the BEST decisions I made, in this challenging time of life. I want you to know every last detail of why I made this decision, why it was the best one I could have made, and how Michael delivered on his promise of excellent service. Know that this professional lawyer will DO the work required for your case. Another big lesson I learned, was the art of patience. I like to know things—EVERYTHING ahead of time, so I can plan. But in these 5 months of hiring him, I learned from Micheal that it’s not always about knowing what is coming next—it’s more important to know what to DO when whatever comes, comes. I truly feel that he made the best decision for me at every turn. That would have not been possible, if he didn’t know what TO DO at every turn. I didn’t know what to do. I’m not a lawyer. That’s why we hired a lawyer. It also wouldn’t have been possible to do our best from a legal perspective, if Micheal didn’t really care about this case resolving in the best possible manner—he does care. So if you hire Michael, trust that he knows what to do—and know that he has experience, and, he cares about his clients. Therefore, you are in good hands. When and if I have another legal situation that needs attending to, Michael will be the first person I call. If you are in a situation involving ACS, please call him. I was on probation for 4 years for a class B felony case and had 2 years of probation left. I was doing so good and eager to be considered for early release when suddenly I was falsely accused of domestic violence because my girl wanted to get back at me for choosing my wife. Despite the charges bein...g dropped by the accuser, I was backed into a corner by the DA because I was on probation. I had to cop out to a domestic violence charge and attend a program I sincerely did not deserve. I was sure that I wouldn’t qualify for early release anymore but that’s when I found Mr. Discioarro and plead my case. Yes, I did the first crime and I was justly sentenced but the second? No way, I was a cheater not a woman abuser. Mr. Discioarro believed in me and knew I deserved proper representation as I should have still been considered for early release because I was manipulated by the system and had that case not appeared, I would have had a stronger case for release. Long story short, Mr. Discioarro understood me, fought for me, knew the law and in the end, his dedication and hard work on my case allowed for justice to prevail. I am a free man today and there is no greater feeling than to have your freedom restored. Thank you Mr. Discioarro, you’re truly the best. If you’re on the fence about hiring him, let this be your sign to do it! You will not regret it!

I retained Mr. Discioarro to help me fight the dysfunctional machine that is ACS. Every trick he warned me about, they tried to pull. They lied, bullied, interrogated, and attacked me. I knew I was innocent, and initially I assumed that if I cooperated with them, they would vindicate me and go away. ...Not so. ONLY after I hired him did ACS back down. Mr. Discioarro taught me to act on innocence, not fear. I don’t need their “help,” because I didn’t do anything. He told me not to be so deferential to them. He gave me the confidence to fight back.

I normally never write reviews but I felt compelled to write one for anyone who would ever have the unfortunate circumstance of having to deal with bogus allegations form ACS and the FILTH that they employ calming to be civil employees for NYC. This agency can file any allegation on anyone without an...y penalty. Literally lie and have people waste there time!! I paid Michael and he's worth every penny! I went to his office and explained my situation and he told me how these ACS employees operate and that he will get the matter resolved which he DID! If I could give him 10 Stars I would! I'm a strong believer in you get what you pay for! DO yourself a favor and hire Mike, and let him deal with these animals!! Michael is competent in his work and passionate about helping people who deal with the ACS and there unprofessional employees! He showed up on time and prepared for every hearing in my case and ensured I was informed through out this lengthy process.
