Locksley began his law career in the Office of the Attorney General of Florida, where he successfully defended constitutional challenges to state laws and administrative rules both in Federal and State Courts from inception to appeals.
Locksley's cases would often involve discrimination based on race, gender, national origin, disability, mental condition and deprivation of civil rights. In addition, Mr. Wade litigated negligence matters, construction cases, civil commitment, contract cases and civil forfeiture matters. For his outstanding work for the State of Florida, Locksley was the recipient of the 1998 Davis Productivity Award for the State of Florida.
Locksley is a true New Yorker. He is a graduate of New York's Charles Evans Hughes High School (named after a former Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court) and Baruch College. For his studies in law, he sequestered himself in sunny Florida and attended Nova Southeastern University Law Center in Fort Lauderdale.
Locksley is a member of the State Bars of New York, New Jersey and Florida. He is also a member of the Federal Bars of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second and the Eleventh Circuit, the U.S. District Courts for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York, the District of New Jersey and the Northern and Southern Districts of Florida. His most immediate area of practice concentrated primarily of complex business and securities litigation. Locksley now focuses his practice primarily on employment matters.
