It has been an absolute pleasure to work with Jean during my coop purchase process. Although I'm an attorney myself, the legal and technical intricacies of NYC real estate law were new to me - Jean, from the outset to finish, explained the entire process to me and meticulously went through each provi...sion in each legal document put in front of me. Additionally, Jean was a great advocate and adeptly negotiated the purchase contract on my behalf. She would foresee and preempt issues before they came up during the negotiation process. Jean also coordinated with my mortgage lender and kept track of the many moving parts during the apartment process. Since I have a busy day job, I very much appreciated that Jean would send me status updates and reminders so the closing didn't fall behind schedule. And during closing, Jean walked me through all the documents that required my signature so I was aware of what each document meant. Most importantly, she was always pleasant and cheerful, which made this arduous process much more tolerable. I was so glad to be done with closing, but sad to end the working relationship with Jean! Jean was a godsend. She was recommended by a good friend, another real estate lawyer who moved out of state and could not represent us. My husband and I hired her to handle both the sale of our NY house and the purchase of a NJ house. She saw us through a year's worth of delays and headaches caused b...y very difficult buyers.
