I received 2 tickets for a total of 7 DMV points from one traffic incident. I am a male, almost 30 years old, and was pulled over in Piscataway Township. The officer incorrectly issued the tickets to my father's name, as he is the title holder of the car. I was already at work when I noticed the m...istake, and tried contacting NJ Motor Vehicle. Well, contacting the corporate headquarters of NJ Motor Vehicle is not an easy task. After getting the run around, I decided to consult an attorney. My first call was to my local real estate attorney. We had a quick 5 minute discussion, and he said changing the tickets from my father's name to my name could be done but it would take a lot of effort. In the end, Vik sorted out the issue with NJ Motor Vehicle, was able to vacate a guilty plea (incorrectly entered by me at an earlier date), got me refunded for that guilty plea, AND he was able to ELIMINATE one of my two tickets entirely, as well as lowering the original 7 points to only 2!!! Mr. Advani is THE lawyer you need to have in your corner. He literally saved me from getting my father's license suspended, as well as my own!!
