I recently hired Mr. Patel to help me through a difficult divorce, specifically but not limited to accessing tax return information from many years in the past. After much frustration and countless failed attempts to acquire the necessary information from the IRS, he stepped in and handled it with ea...se. His calm demeanor and professionalism gave me great comfort and made this painful process much more bearable. I willingly recommend him to anyone looking for an attorney who specializes in tax related matters.

He misguided us into fighting for a clearly prohibited listed transaction with the tax department. Another lawyer consultant told us later that this is something any attorney worth his salt would know not to even bother with. That there was no scope of getting anywhere. Not just that, he kept asking ...for outrageous fees and kept on fighting for a case that was never going to get anywhere. Avoid him like the plague that he is!

Parag has you sign an extensive contract so when he refuses to deliver as promised verbally, you can't get a refund for lies. $280 to consult and $1500 to fax 1 piece of paper to request surrogate accounting and then claims in the contract that does NOT include phone consulting with the other party.... Tells me afterwards the Executor sounded too educated to fight in court and it wouldn't be worth it to me to sue over a $600,000 estate for my share. The main reason was because his "Retainer" is expensive. You think? Recommended highly from my CPA who assured me Parag was ethical.
