Edward George Appel

I found this lawyer after receiving dozens of letters from attorneys in the area after violating a law. It specifically stated that if I chose him to represent me, the case would not be passed to another lawyer- this was not the case. My case was delayed for months by Edward Appel because their c...ase load was too heavy and they could not make an on time appearance (according to documents sent to court). I then received a firm date and showed up for court. Regretfully, my attorney did not appear and I had to wait there for hours until they finally called court and said they could not make it. The attorney, who was not Edward Appel but someone from his firm, told me the previous night that he would be late because he had other cases preceding mine, in a nearby town. The following day (day of my case), the attorney messaged me in the morning and almost promising that he would not show because he had court at the same time in a different town. The attorney Joell called to apologize after missing the date and I explained that it was unacceptable. He proceeded to fight with me and it escalated to yelling and arguing back and forth because he wouldn't take responsibility. He said it wasn't his fault. Edward Appel's office lied to be and make up different excuses to cover up their fault. The legal assistant lied and said he had car trouble. Edward Appel actually called me and said that it was because of the weather but that was a lie because the predicted snow didn't happen until an hour after court. This is after the actual attorney explained that he had too many cases to try in the morning at a different court. After months, I eventually received a lawyer who appeared and resolved my matter.

I hired him as my lawyer. Before virtual meetings I called every day for 3 days. One time i spoke to someone who said they would call me back. The other 2 times I called, left message and never got callback so I went into the meetings blind. All i wanted was a brief 2-3 min convo on what to expect, n...ever happened. I paid them a lot of money but they can’t find 3 minutes of their day to speak with me. That said, all in all he seems like a nice guy, just very bad communication skills

I hired this attorney based on his advertisement that indicates he will personally handle your case and it will not be pushed off to another attorney. I was contacted the evening before our court date to request that full payment be made prior to court. We arrived at 9:00 am and sat for 2 hours 45 m...ins waiting on someone name Jose Leon to come and represent us. After sitting through close to 45 cases we were the last ones waiting and the Judge and bailiff starting asking us who we were waiting on as court was over and the prosecutor was on his way out. This guy finally arrives dressed like a delivery guy was here to speak on our behalf and I knew at that point we were in trouble. They ask him who he is there to represent and he calls out some ladies name from his prior case. He finally says the right name and walks in rushing trying to catch the prosecutor before he leaves. He never asked us any questions prior to speaking to the prosecutor. I could hear their conversation and Jose Leon was clearly unprepared to speak on our behalf. He stumbled over his words, not able to answer questions the prosecutor asked. He didn't even know details about the case and had to pull up the information on his cell phone. After I showed my frustration with his inability to perform he then started to speak to us as if the fiasco that what was occurring in front of us was our fault. We would have been better off throwing ourselves on the mercy of the court and we would have had the same end result. Thanks for absolutely nothing! For anyone who is considering them, do yourself a favor and go some place else. I would never recommend this attorney's office nor will I ever hire them in the future.

I Had a very bad experience with this attorney. All he did was take my money no communication. Appel shows up to court late!! Hired another attorney with out your permission and to top it all off the attorney he hires has no knowledge about my case. I gave him the benefit of a dought and rehired him ...to do a expungement I get no reply from him. Eric took my money and just don't give a rats ass. I wouldn't wish this attorney on my worst enemy. I have a lot of experience with attorney's. But this man is the worst!! I Don't know what to do I want my money back!!

I was facing 2 shoplifting charges so I contacted mr. Edward Appel office and briefly spoke with mr. Appell at which he put me in contact with his assistant and I hired him right there on the spot over the phone and paid my down payment and was offered a very nice and convenient payment plan to work ...out the balance. Mr. Appell quickly submitted letters of representation to both courts and I never even had to go to his office to sit down with him we were able to have all communication through the phone which is an excellent option for me because I'm a mother of 3 and I'm self-employed so I am very busy needless to say and after numerous Court appearances and having to postponed due to the stores that were charging me with the shoplifting not submitting documents that they were supposed to and not appearing at court probably because they knew I had a really great attorney and he would definitely get the charges amended or dismissed completely and I am happy to say that today was the court date for my second and last appearance and he had both charges completely dismissed not one time did I have to pay and nothing on my record I'm very very pleased with mr. Apel's representation he did what he said he would and he did better
