Christopher M. Manganello

I hired him Chris Manganello in Jan., 2014 he wanted a check "right away" so he could "get started right away". He never calls me I always had to call him and he always seems to "be in court" and will call me back later which never happens. Many times telling me there is paper work in the mail which... never comes. I've wasted 9 years with this SOB.

Manganello is now suspended from practicing law in NJ and PA. Why this site claims there is no case of professional misconduct is beyond me- a simple Google search provides the evidence. I personally used him and he makes big promises, charges an even bigger retainer fee and fails to perform. Every t...ime. I would have to chase him to try to get him to complete the work he promised to do. Six, nine months later he would refuse to comply with one ridiculous excuse after another. I only didn’t file misconduct charges against him because I wasn’t sure how and I was already fighting my own legal battles. If he is eligible to practice law again in 2-3 years- run from this so called professional and never look back!!

I have used Chris in the past where he was excellent, very helpful, and at that time I would have recommended him. I am not sure what happened between then and now but now he is nothing but a thief. He accepted payment for a retainer for a personal issue I was having only to do no work on the case ...and have no communication with me. I have since discovered he is now suspended and unable to practice, will not return my retainer or my file making it very difficult to obtain new representation.

He is a scammer and a thief. He has a censure and two suspensions, all for collecting retainers, and performing no work. If Avo can't find misconduct charges, then the platform is useless. They come right up with a Google search. He is barred from claiming he's a lawyer until at least November 2023. ...Stay away

A year ago this man was hired to do a hearing for my incarcerated son. He never sent him a contract to sign, never sent any paperwork for review and only spoke to him twice. Demanding money and when was paid in full he demanded more to draft a response to a motion which he never did. Day of the heari...ng he was a no show only calling almost 2 hours after the hearing was to start. He lies and spins webs. When confronted he yells. He is being reported to the chief disciplinary council in Pennsylvania.
