My daughter received a speeding ticket with 4 points, I wasn't too happy about this, it would have doubled the amount of my insurance payments. A few days after the sandy storm 3rd Nov 2012 time was about 5 AM ,it was very dark, there was no power , the traffic lights were not working . While making a U turn the highway intersection was blocked with cones instead of a detour or direction sign,causing me to go the wrong way. After trying t...o get over the median to the right side of the road, I got stuck in the mud. Cops came and I was given 2 traffic tickets one for careless driving and improper use of a Divided highway.I am not a careless person and have been driving for almost 40 years. without an accident.The Shugar lawyer represented me in court by talking to the prosecuter on my behalf ...Careless driving charge was changed to obstruction without points with a much lower fine,and I ended leaving the court after paying only $229.00 and 2 points for both offenses. When I could have been charged over $600.00 in fines plus 4 points. The charge of Careless driving is very serious and could have destroyed my driving career ,since I am a Commercial driver .So I thank these people for helping me .Today I got a new Job thanks to these people. I would definitely use Shugar Law Office again. I got a 5 point speeding ticket. I called around to other law offices and Shugar Law was the only ones who told me they could reduce my ticket to no points. I got a good feeling from them over the phone and trusted my gut and hired them. They did ex...actly what they told me they would do over the phone and I got no points. I was very satisfied.

The attorney that the law office provided to represent me was wonderful. She was knowledgeable and articulate, smoothly negotiated with the Trooper, and professionally discussed the case with the Judge, all to a satisfactory conclusion. It was evident she had experience, and had "done this before",... - which is exactly what one would want. I would highly recommend this firm in the future for any traffic related issue.

I hired them after seeing the reviews. Very reasonably priced (considering the amount of the fines and points). They told me they could get my speeding ticket (69 mph in 35mph), and careless driving ticket reduced to half the fine for the speeding ticket and get the careless driving thrown out all ...with no points. I was skeptical but waited for the result. The only complaint I have about them is their lack of communication. When I called them they were very responsive, but they never called me to inform me of anything, so I was constantly calling for updates. I don't get in legal trouble very often so I like to be kept informed of exactly what is happening and what I should or shouldn't be doing. I would definitely use them again and wouldn't be as anxious knowing they will deliver on their promises.
