Bad experience, lawyer got me suspended
Used this attorney in a central New Jersey court. Problem is, he doesnt show up. he has someone come to court for him. I have a license from a midwestern state. This firm had me plea to an unsafe driving. Unfortunately my state reads this as a reckless and suspended my license! After many calls t...
Every part of this review makes no sense. I have no idea who you are as you posted "anonymously". We stand behind our work. Had an out of state driver received points due to our representation we have a procedure in place to fix the issue. We certainly would not yell at a prior or current client....we would fix the issue which is relatively easy to fix and communicate the NJ no point resolution to your home state. So i can only guess this is obviously a negative post from a competitor keyboard warrior. And if it is not then you should call me at the office so we can fix the issue you are having. I doubt I will ever get that call because this is a fictitious review.

Don't hire this Firm...It is a waste of money. They didn't show up for my hearing
I hired the Shugar Law Firm to handle my case and they were absolutely awful from the start .Once they received payment for their services they refused to answer questions or take any kind of statement about the matter which they would be defending. I had one attorney tell me that we could email...
This is simply NOT true. You were charged with shoplifting in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. We appeared with you on July 2, 2014 and we were able to have you entered into the CAP program which is a diversionary program whereby once you successfully complete the program the shoplifting charges are dismissed. The CAP program in Bucks County, PA is a brand new program that has just been made available in Bucks County so all attorneys as well as court staff are doing their best to navigate through the new program. A date for your admittance to the CAP program was scheduled for July 22, 2014 for you to be admitted. Only you had to appear on the admittance date of July 22, 2014. We did exactly what we told you we were going to do by avoiding a shoplifting conviction. I can't understand why you are upset. If you are upset you should have called the office so that we could have discussed this. We have a fully staffed office that answers the phone. and promptly monitors e-mails. If you had a question there is absolutely no reason why you wouldn't be able to get in contact with us. I think you are just mad at the whole situation and you are taking it out on the only people who have actually helped you in though your entire situation. Is is simply wrong for you to do that. With that being said, we are still here to help and if you need assistance please do not hesitate to call us.

Horrible
RUN. Seriously. I received a letter after getting a ticket for driving on the left side in NJ. Being a brand new resident in NJ, I was unaware this was even a law. I contacted Mr. Shugar to handle the matter since I was moving from NJ to Virginia and it has been a nightmare ever since. First, I recei...
This review is the most dishonest review I have ever received. I was so blown away with this review that I actually called her and told her that her review was all lies and gave her the opportunity to delete it otherwise I would have to respond and expose her lies. Firstly, I don't know if it is true, but she claims she is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor. If that is true, then she certainly needs to be evaluated. On January 25, 2017 Ms. Parris contacted our office because she got a ticket in South Brunswick. She attempted to pay us but her credit card was declined. I called her and told her her credit card was declined and she said she would call back when she could pay us. TWO MONTHS LATER On MARCH 24, 2017 she paid us. By then she ALREADY had a warrant BEFORE we were even hired. So to insinuate the reason she got the warrant was our fault is completely unfair. When she finally hired us I told her I'd try to get the warrant recalled but if the court refuses she would simply have to pay the warrant and she would get that money back when the case is over. (all documented in emails) The court refused to recall the warrant. I emailed her and told her to pay the warrant and gave her instructions (including the address of the court) on how to pay the warrant. (all documented in emails) Then out of nowhere I get a nasty email from her saying how we never sent her the email stating how to post the bail. I responded to that email and ATTACHED our prior email showing proof that I did indeed inform her how to post the bail. When she finally posted the bail, I checked up on the status of her case every day (i have her emails and my emails to prove this) to see when the warrant would be recalled and a court date would be scheduled. Ms. Parris then says she cannot appear in court so I get permission to appear on her behalf without her personally appearing. A court date gets scheduled for August 8th. We have another case that takes priority so we have to have the matter rescheduled to September 5 because that is when the officer is working again. The case has to be scheduled when the officer is working. Ms. Parris called and said she cannot have it on September 5th, and wanted it on August 8th so we called the court and rearranged our entire schedule to accommodate her to appear on August 8th. I then email Ms. Parris and tell her the case will be back on August 8th as per her request and she actually thanks me. Then I come in to the office today and see this untruthful review. The reason the case is taking so long to resolve is because of YOU. You delayed in hiring us, you got the warrant, and you took months to post the bail when we told you how to do it. You have been very unfair through this whole process. I honestly cannot remember a more nasty, demeaning and rude client to represent. I answered all your questions, all your emails, rearranged our schedule to go to court when you wanted us to go. What else is there to do for you??? Take some responsibility for your actions and stop blaming everyone else for your short comings. I have all the emails. It is very clear this review is compete lies. You should be ashamed of yourself!

Quick and Easy
I received a ticket for going through a yellow light. On the morning of court they called out names for people to speak with the prosecutor. I was about 25th in line. I heard a voice calling my name, then a person said, "I'm Natalie. I'm your lawyer." She then went to speak to the prosecutor wit...
