I hired them after seeing the reviews. Very reasonably priced (considering the amount of the fines and points). They told me they could get my speeding ticket (69 mph in 35mph), and careless driving ticket reduced to half the fine for the speeding ticket and get the careless driving thrown out all ...with no points. I was skeptical but waited for the result. The only complaint I have about them is their lack of communication. When I called them they were very responsive, but they never called me to inform me of anything, so I was constantly calling for updates. I don't get in legal trouble very often so I like to be kept informed of exactly what is happening and what I should or shouldn't be doing. I would definitely use them again and wouldn't be as anxious knowing they will deliver on their promises.

I got a speeding ticket on the GSP around Sayreville in early August. Within 4 days I received a half dozen letters from lawyers offering to represent me. When I googled, I found that Shugar had the best reputation of the lot. I spoke directly with Greg Shugar who was very straightforward and upfr...ont - $250 fee, they will try to get the violation reduced, pled as first time offender and no points (although it's unclear whether points count against an NYS license) and no report to the insurance company. And no court appearance for me. 30 days later and $439 poorer and wiser ($189 for the ticket fee) Shugar did what they said they thought they could do.

I was facing serious jail time because I was caught with drugs. Mr. Shugar patiently listened to my case (trust me...i'm a little nutz) and assured me that i'd be fine and not go to jail or lose my license. I was skeptical because i've been burned by other lawyers in the past who told me what i wan...ted to hear and then dropped me on my head. When I appeared in court, I walked out of there with NO JAIL and didn't get my license suspended. I was even able to do a payment plan for the fines. Glad I trusted my gut and went with these guys. Hope i never need u again, but if i do, i'll be calling!!

I called Mr. Shugar with a serious infractment which I expected to pay dearly for. Mr. Shugar was candid with me from the start and gave me a strategic plan to set the case on the right course. He was able to get 1 charge completely dismissed and another charge lowered to a small fine where as it c...ould have been up to $1500 with 6 months loss of license. I cannot stress enough how much he helped me and how thankful I am for his expertise.
