I drive for a living and I can't afford any tickets. I received a careless driving and called around for a lawyer. When I called Shugar Law I instantly got a good feeling. A few days after the sandy storm 3rd Nov 2012 time was about 5 AM ,it was very dark, there was no power , the traffic lights were not working . While making a U turn the highway intersection was blocked with cones instead of a detour or direction sign,causing me to go the wrong way. After trying t...o get over the median to the right side of the road, I got stuck in the mud. Cops came and I was given 2 traffic tickets one for careless driving and improper use of a Divided highway.I am not a careless person and have been driving for almost 40 years. without an accident.The Shugar lawyer represented me in court by talking to the prosecuter on my behalf ...Careless driving charge was changed to obstruction without points with a much lower fine,and I ended leaving the court after paying only $229.00 and 2 points for both offenses. When I could have been charged over $600.00 in fines plus 4 points. The charge of Careless driving is very serious and could have destroyed my driving career ,since I am a Commercial driver .So I thank these people for helping me .Today I got a new Job thanks to these people. My daughter had two tickets that equaled 7 points while she was on her provisional license. I was sure that she would have her license taken away for 30 days while they tried to reduce the points. Not only did the law firm reduce the points to 2 pts. but they also was able to keep her license.
