D. Ryan Nussey

I first hired Ryan in late 2008 to represent me in my divorce. This was after consulting another lawyer that I was not comfortable with. Ryan understood my goals, fears, and needs. He gave me very smart advice, and negotiated a fair divorce for me. I felt good about my future, and moved on with my li...fe. Unfortunately, I have an ex-spouse that does not communicate at all with me, and would rather do everything through lawyers. I have had to retain Ryan a few more times, over the years. Most recently, in a battle over alimony. I don't know the outcome, yet, but Ryan did a stellar job representing me. He gave his all, he helped me through a very long and stressful plenary hearing, and could not have done a better job. I feel good knowing his services are there when I am in need. I trust him completely, and he has never let me down.

I am presently using Ryan Nussey to represent me against my x husband who is a lawyer. The experience has been very upsetting to me EXCEPT for the fact that I have Ryan by my side. He has made himself available to me on weekends and after hours. He cares alot about me, my children and my case. I ...am positive we will have a winning outcome. One of the things I like the best about him is that he doesn't play games and get involved in the drama aspect of the case. :)

Terrible person here. Just asks for money and doesn’t do his job. Multiple calls and emails not returned. When I first came to him he was great helped defused a tough situation. As years went on just asked for $2,500 every time I needed something done and never helped after that. Missed multiple app...earances in courts and didn’t notify me on my last custody date. Steer clear from him. He was penalized for a reason.

I felt completely neglected the entire time. I spoke to numerous lawyers after that confirmed this. I think he felt this was an easy divorce and wrote me off. After my consultation I felt complete minimal contact and I still don't understand a lot of what I was consenting to but felt pressured. I wa...s also told I will not litigate furniture so I felt pressured to just be agreeable to an ex that is a predator and uses this as excuses to show up to the house or be present when he feels like it even post divorce. If I could take it all back I would. I was being forwarded emails from my ex's attorney instead of direct communication or advice from my lawyer... and this person I was divorcing stalked and controlled me for years and continued to do that and I had no defense on my side. I was incredibly let down and hurt and disappointed.
