I contacted this firm regarding a potential case, but they ultimately declined representation, citing reasons such as scope limitations, insufficient financial loss, difficulty substantiating a missed promotion, and challenges in proving a schedule change violation. During the conversation, I beca...me concerned about their depth of understanding of USERRA and the scope of ESGR-related violations. Several of the reasons provided did not fully align with my understanding of these protections, and when I addressed those points, it did not appear to influence their position. Additionally, the interaction itself raised some concerns. There were moments where communication felt unclear, and assumptions were made about my perspective that did not accurately reflect what I expressed. While the representative stated familiarity with USERRA, that familiarity was not clearly demonstrated during the discussion. At the conclusion of the call, I was advised to reach back out if the issue persists after my current orders. That recommendation was confusing, as it raises the question of why I would return to a firm that indicated they could not effectively handle the matter in its current form. Based on the overall experience, I would not have chosen to move forward with this firm regardless of their decision.
