It can be extremely difficult finding a divorce attorney (or any attorney, for that matter), with big firm pull/resources, coupled with a personalized and tailored family law office type feel. Fox has this with Joe and Joe has this with Fox. The latter, Joe's personable character, is what is mos...t critical in an otherwise unpleasant and lengthy process. Accessibility was never an issue. We spoke when we needed to speak, sometimes outside of traditional working hours, fewer times on weekends, but we spoke. But that's what you get with Joe... a well composed, results-oriented executor, who knows full well when to push, when to sit back and when to compromise... a priceless characteristic of counsel. Perhaps Joe's most exemplary quality is his heart. The heart he brings into work, day in and day out, in standing up for his clients' interest. The heart he shows when needing to empathize with one's counterparty for the greater good. I learned lot from Joe, not just about the ins and outs of a traumatic divorce process, but subtler lessons around the art of negotiation, the art of compromise, when to use and when to tame one's emotions, etc. Joe is is a very capable lawyer, an experienced guide and an all-around great human being. And he worked the other parties aggressively to ensure that didn't happen here. He never left me thinking we were good when we were not - and gave up ground only when winning was a worse outcome for my kids and I than losing. In the end he got me the best outcome I could have expected - one I can live with. I never felt so represented by an attorney as I did with Bud Murphy. Because of him, my children have another chance at a decent upbringing. Because of him I can put this experience in a box and move on. He knows when to pour on the sugar and work the offline discussions to get to a good outcome, and when to pull out the blowtorch to bend steel. He is an excellent attorney that called me nights and weekends while he worked my case. I truly appreciate and thank him, and cannot recommend him enough. Count my vote for Bud Murphy.
