At a time when I needed to fix fmy financial hardship due to credit card bills which was incredibly getting out of hand, I felt it was time to find a fast solution. This thank you note is long overdue. This past Christmas holidays while spending one night at home with 2 of my children, I began to recount to them details about my financial journey in the last 5 years. I recalled probably the darkest moment since the passing of my wife when my house was listed... under a foreclosure sheriff sale; and then what appeared to have been like a divine intervention, you approached me offering your legal services to save my house. You developed a chapter 13 plan, got it approved by the bankruptcy court, and put it in front of me to execute for 48 consecutive months after filing on 12/30/2019. Your final advise was – keep yourself employed and make your payments every month to the mortgage companies and the trustee. I managed to do that despite some bumps along the way. Losing my wife to cancer, and with it, losing half of my household income, and then not having a steady job made it hard to keep up with the bills and my house mortgage. I shared this life episode with my children, as I was lucky now to see them making successful strides and forging ahead in their professional careers after completing their university degrees. I will forever be grateful to the two of you, for giving me the assistance to restructure my finances, and now be able to continue with better footing.
