Jonathan Stone

Johathan Closed on my house twice. He advised me on Credit Card Debt. He had done my Taxes for almost a decade. This man is intelligent, kind, and caring. I recommend him to all.

We had a wonderful consultation with Mr. Stone and he went over ALL of our options clearly. We never felt rushed and he was always there to answer any follow up questions we had. Then we hired him as our bankruptcy attorney and continued to have terrific dealings with him. At the hearing - both parties before us were missing information and were told to refile, the court personnel were getting short tempered, then it was our turn and we had all our info and everything was complete and in order - the court personnel were thrilled and we were in and out in minutes. He made a very hard decision and event in our life as easy to handle as possible.

When my wife and I looked into filing bankruptcy more than three years ago, we met with Mr. Stone. After our first meeting we knew bankruptcy was our only option and that Jonathan Stone was going to be our case attorney. Mr. Stone and his staff were extremely nice, knowledgeable, professional and thorough. Three years after our initial filing Jonathan Stone and his staff are helping us file amendments to our case, and still working just as hard for our interests. Jonathan Stone is by far the best attorney fighting FOR the little guys! My wife and I highly recommend Jonathan Stone for any of the services offered by him and his great staff!

This guy has 2 bad reviews too many. And with this one is 3. He took $1800 from me after he claimed when on vacation. No one on his office answered the phone. After he come back he agreed to meet up on labor day weekend. I was 15 minutes late . He refused to wait for me after I waited for him 30 days. He refused to give my money back on top he now claims I owe him 800 dollars for something he never do. Please be aware this guy doesn't operate from his office he gave me a receipt on a business card. I will not recommend this guy to no body. !

BUYER BEWARE. I hired the law office of Jonathan Stone for a closing. Never met nor spoke with him once as it was all through my realtor. It took forever to attempt to negotiate price after inspections so I just worked through realtors. I informed his office the numbers were inaccurate, they did nothing, therefore; closing could not happen. Since closing did not occur I was required to coordinate the closing, determine new numbers so I would not be leaving approx. 2700 on the table, contact all parties involved and travel to a closing 35 miles away on my own! WHY? Because they were on vacation and no one was going to be available? I was informed that they would not attend my closing at the end of the business day on a Friday. Unprofessional and rude in my opinion. Doesn't one hire an attorney to protect your interests? The paralegal just blamed everyone else and had no interest in helping me fix the issues. Also, when I asked days before to have the owners title insurance removed I was told it was required?! When I informed the office that was not the case I was told again that the state of NJ required owners title insurance. It does not. They do not even know the law. If you want to pay 1100 dollars to have someone review a document then go ahead if you want someone who knows the law and will represent you and attend the closing then BUYER BEWARE. I am not a legal profession but it sure felt like I knew more. Scary and shocked.
