Tanis Deitch

Tanis is a fantastic lawyer! I moved here from another state and contacted Tanis after finding her on this site. With in a few months we were able to get a child support order and custody order in place. Since I had just moved up here I had to wait 12 months before my actual divorce. Tanis really to...ok the time to hear my concerns and address them. She fought for what I deserved not what was being offered by the other party. When it came time for the actual divorce proceedings, all of the details were done. Custody, Visitation, property, child support, all of the things you might not even think of were taken care of in a timely matter. I have heard some people say that their lawyer is only interested in the money, but that is not Tanis. She really cares about you as a person and helping you through your situation. I would recommend her to anyone going through a divorce, especially if custody is involved. She will push for what's right, but she will also advise you when to compromise. Ultimately though she will let you make the decision. Tanis and her staff really made a difference in my life and guided me through a emotionally charged situation with grace and class. She made my divorce an easier process than I had anticipated.

Tanis has been my attorney since my divorce in 2007. I had to retain her again in 2012 when my ex husband sued me for full custody. Tanis was incredible to work with. We had worked with another lawyer previously regarding immigration and custody for our son but she mishandled our case and actually had greatly damaged our chances for proper custody of our adopted son who was also fighting for his immigration status at the time. ... Then we were introduced to Tanis by our new immigration lawyer in Freehold. She took our case, walked us through every detail, was up front and highly personable with us, informative and fought hard for us to get what we wanted and needed from the court system to ensure our son could move forward with his immigration case. In the end we were able to help our son get his green card and we now have full custody of him and he is able to live his life free of fear. Tanis handled a complex Motion for Custody leading to qualification under the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act. Tanis was easy to contact and made herself available whenever I had a question or concern. Her staff was proactive in every way, quickly sending me any required document...s or materials. I was impressed by how quickly she processed our case and the personal interest she took in the matter. When the judge heard our case, it was obvious he respected her as a professional.
