I consulted with this firm and wanted another lawyer. Mr. Carlin was assigned since the lawyer I wanted was away and I had a pressing case. I was charged for every email, etc. and he was often slow to respond. He also let my ex's laywer overpower him. He made a huge mistake on my divorce settlement t...hat was caught before it was finalized. Another laywer might have cost more per hour, but my divorce would have been quicker and probably less money overall. I'm still in debt 3 years later because of the costs that were accumulated.

I hired Mr.Carlin after interviewing other attorneys in the area. I liked his style and unlike 2 other attorneys I spoke with was honest about my case. I had a restraining order against me that was unfair. I left his office confident that the truth would be heard. He did not disappoint me. Mr. Car...lin, thank you!

Mr. Carlin took on a child support case for me and totally mislead me about our ability to get my ex-husband to pay more child support. After getting $2,500.00 out of me for the motion, he lost it, and then he even got me sanctioned by the court and I had to pay my ex-husband's lawyer almost $1000!!...! The judge made it clear that Mr. Carlin did not know what he was doing and his argument was totally ineffective. When he suggested that we file a Motion to Reconsider, i agreed, and that's when the judge sanctioned me and made me pay. She said that Mr. Carlin had no legal reason to file the motion! What a total waste of money. I have no confidence in him!
