Mr. Carlin took on a child support case for me and totally mislead me about our ability to get my ex-husband to pay more child support. After getting $2,500.00 out of me for the motion, he lost it, and then he even got me sanctioned by the court and I had to pay my ex-husband's lawyer almost $1000!!...! The judge made it clear that Mr. Carlin did not know what he was doing and his argument was totally ineffective. When he suggested that we file a Motion to Reconsider, i agreed, and that's when the judge sanctioned me and made me pay. She said that Mr. Carlin had no legal reason to file the motion! What a total waste of money. I have no confidence in him!

I worked for Mr. Carlin a few years ago and fell compelled to send a review after reading what the person below me wrote. Mr. Carlin in one of the most honest and trustworthy person I have ever met. He never mislead a client or was dishonest in the time I worked for him. I worked with many attorneys,... most of who I found repulsive and skeevy. I am sorry you lost your motion, but trying to hurt his reputation makes me think that you are not being honest about who you are.
