Victoria C Schaefer

Ms. Schaefer is an associate at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C., in the firm’s Red Bank, New Jersey office. She primarily focuses her practice on employment litigation, representing clients in matters involving discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and whistleblower claims. Ms. Schaefer is a zealous advocate who believes that everyone has the right to work in a safe and comfortable workplace.

Ms. Schaefer graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. While an undergraduate, she served as a legislative intern in the Texas House of Representatives handling constituent matters, strengthening her passion for the law and helping others. Following her graduation from UT Austin, she attended Seton Hall University School of Law, receiving a concentration in Health Law.

Following her first year at Seton Hall Law, Ms. Schaefer served as a Judicial Intern in the New Jersey Superior Court, Family Division in Monmouth County for the Honorable Theresa-Kondrup-Coyle. During her second year, Ms. Schaefer dove deeper into her passion for employment law and litigation, joining the team at McOmber McOmber & Luber, P.C. as a law clerk in the firm’s Red Bank Office.

While at Seton Hall Law, Ms. Schaefer was an associate editor for the Seton Hall Law Journal of Legislation and Public Policy. She served as the Vice President of the Health Law forum and Managing Editor of the Health Law Outlook. During her final year, Ms. Schaefer was selected for the Seton Hall University School of Law Settlement Conference Advocacy Program as a Student Advocate. Ms. Schaefer represented federal litigants in the District of New Jersey for settlement purposes handling cases such as FMLA Interference, wrongful termination, and representing incarcerated individuals in their Section 1983 claims.

Following her graduation from Seton Hall Law, Ms. Schaefer joined the McOmber McOmber & Luber team as an associate in the Red Bank office.
