I contacted Alexis in 2011 for my DWI case. She advised me that New Jersey is very rigid when it comes to DWI sentencing, no matter what my circumstance. It was unlikely that my 6 month license suspension could be reduced. When I arrived at the courthouse, Alexis told me that she had already wor...ked out a deal with the prosecutor and that my license, by some miracle, was only going to be suspended for 3 months. I was ecstatic! It was such a surprise. Not only that, she had all my other charges stemming from that incident (reckless driving, failure to maintain lane, etc.) wiped out. When it came time for sentencing, the judge seemed very perturbed about the deal made with the prosecutor, only reinforcing what Alexis had said in the beginning : NJ rarely reduces DWI punishments. Alexis did a great job with my case. She's very knowledgeable and prepared when coming to court. She's great at making her argument and having her voice heard. A good lawyer can make all the difference in a case. This is my 5th time going to court with her (family and civil cases) and every time, she's won.
