It is very unfortunate that I meet most of my clients after something terrible has happened to them - they may have been badly hurt in a car accident, fallen and broke their leg, injured by their doctor, arrested, served with divorce papers, or lost custody of their child.  What I find very rewarding is the fact that my career is dedicated towards helping people through these bad times.

I am a Certified Civil Trial Attorney (certified by the NJ Supreme Court) and as such my practice areas all concern cases that will either resolve through negotiation or go to trial.  I represent many clients regarding car accidents, slip/trip and falls, negligent security, etc.  I also have experience with medical malpractice, assault cases, and various other types of personal injury work, including appeals.

My family law practice is also one of the highlights of my work.  I represent clients in divorce cases, custody cases, support cases, and domestic violence cases for restraining orders and violations.  My clients are pretty equally split between males and females, so I am able to objectively look at both sides of the arguments and advise my clients.

I also represent clients who were charged with criminal complaints and serious traffic infractions, including DWI.  These cases can range from very serious cases in Superior Court to more minor charges in Municipal Court.  But regardless, I treat all criminal charges as if they were very serious because I know that all clients consider their charges to be serious.

DUI case
Dan is an excellent lawyer and he got a my Driving under the influence (DUI) charge dismissed. He looked at the facts in my case and realised that I couldnt have been my driving with intoxicated. I made a great choice in hiring him as my lawyer for this case.

Excellent Service
I hired Daniel Levy for my case a couple months back. He was extremely professional and very intelligent! I'm a very anxious person and all through out my case he maintained his composure which made me feel very confident and calm. Custody case! Amazing results!!!!
I recently was represented by Mr.Levy in a child custody case whereas I the father was fighting for custody of my 7 year old son from his mother. I have to say that from the moment I walked into his office, I was greeted by his friendly staff. Before I came to this office I was previously looking for a lawyer that will actually care about my case. I met with a few whom did not catch my attention but Mr.Levy truly impressed me with his ability to listen and take NOTES OF EVERYTHING I WAS SAYING. His attention to detail was amazing. I met with Mr.Levy two times before my court date!!!! He took time to gather all his notes and prepare for my case. TO MAKE THIS Long story short, I WAS GRANTED CUSTODY OF MY SON AND I COULD NOT BE ANY HAPPIER WITH THIS FIRMS SERVICES. I truly recommend Mr.Levy in any given case!!!!

Exemplary attorney
Mr. Levy was very accomodating to my short notice court date and even facilatated a phone meeting fue to my busy schedule. He was compassionate and very professional. i live 1200 miles away from mr levy office so you know i was a little worried but after speaking with him i went ahead and retained him and it was the best thing i did my case has now been settled and i am 100% satisfied i would recommend mr. levy .

I had to go to traffic court for an issue
To Whom It May Concern: I was nervous going into traffic court for a violation that could have been costly and hurt my standing with my insurance. However, I was fortunate to be represented by a great attorney. He pleaded my case down to obstructing traffic and I walked away very happy. I did not have to pay any surcharges. Real Estate Tax Assessment Case
Dan was extremely helpful and responsive in helping my family with our Real Estate case. He was able to explain a complex process very simply so we could understand the steps in the process and then advised us on what path to choose based both on experience and the understanding of our specific case. He left the decision in our hands and did not push us for a quick response. Sometimes in the service business you deal with folks who don't understand what a client relationship should mean. Dan is one of the people who truly gets it.

Dan is an EXCELLENT attorney
I found Dan to be an excellent attorney. He is a fine man who is very trustworthy and responsible, and whose handling of my case was of the highest quality. He was very knowledgeable of the law, so much so, in fact, that when opposing counsel tried to surprise him by arguing the relevance of another case precedent, Dan handily and easily argued against it, easily winning the judge's agreement with Dan's opinion. I especially appreciated his defense of my character, which opposing counsel attempted to mildly disparage. Dan answered all of my questions thoughtfully and thoroughly, and had a full grasp and command of the strengths and weaknesses of our case, and of the options available to me and the best strategies to pursue. Dan kept me informed throughout the process, and was very patient with my many questions, answering all of them fully and to my complete satisfaction.
