Will get the job done

Barry was a true ally to my parents and the family as he helped them navigate the complicated Chap 13 bankruptcy process. Ever patient, Barry always took the time to answer all questions, however trivial they may have been at times. He was knowledgeable, competent, and compassionate throughout the pr...ocess. In the end Barry was able to secure monthly payment play that my family was more than comfortable with. I highly recommend Barry to represent you no matter how complicated you think your case may be …. Barry will get the job done!

Posted by Adam Yannotta | June 07, 2016 | Hired Attorney | Debt Settlement

Excellent Service, Great Results, I brought Barry a bad situation and he turned it into a positive outcome for me and my family.

Barry and Jodi Miller negotiated a settlement for an AMEX credit card in the range of $35,000 and saved me thousands of dollars in unnecessary interest and fees, reduced the total amount of principal owed and increased the amount of time I had to pay the balance of the card. I called Barry Miller a ...day before the legal financial complaint against me from American Express was to convert into a Supreme Court Lawsuit. Barry was able to prevent a Judgement against me by negotiating a settlement that included an extended payment plan, reduction of principal and interest along with a positive credit outcome. My credit was 640 in March of 2016 and now it is 750 in June of 2016. Barry incorporated a stipulation in the settlement that would make the creditors retract any negative credit reporting. Not only did my credit increase but Amex sent me a new Corporate Card as if this account was never compromised.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
