Negotiated A Great Settlement. Awesome Experience
I hired Barry because a creditor took action to garnish my wages for an old debt. The creditor had sued me in another state using an old address so I was unaware of this until the garnishment notification. Barry negotiated a debt of $17K down to $4K and got the creditor to stop pursuing action agains...

Excellent Service, Great Results, I brought Barry a bad situation and he turned it into a positive outcome for me and my family.
Barry and Jodi Miller negotiated a settlement for an AMEX credit card in the range of $35,000 and saved me thousands of dollars in unnecessary interest and fees, reduced the total amount of principal owed and increased the amount of time I had to pay the balance of the card. I called Barry Miller a ...

Assisting in my debt collectiion settlement
I hired Barry Miller to assist me in a credit card debt settlement. I paid him $1500 upfront. Before he had all the information, he led me to believe he could settle it for $10K. Months later, it was settled for over $13K. At times I felt he was working more towards the collector's interest as he...
The notes in my file reflect the fact that I would "try" to settle the matter for $10K as the claim by the creditor exceeded $26K. This is what was communicated to the client. With the amount of the claim In this case, I thought that would be a fair offer. I am very clear with my clients that I cannot and do not guarantee an outcome (this language is in my legal fee agreement) but that, with 25+ years of experience in assisting clients with managing their debt, I strive to resolve claims against them to their satisfaction and only with their agreement. In this case, I believed that, if we could make the creditor an offer with a larger down payment, that could help to obtain a better long-term settlement. In the end, the claim was settled to the satisfaction of my client for the sum of $13K with payments over a two year period.

Don't let creditors garnish your pay.
I was being harassed by my creditors. One of the creditors was attempting to garnish my pay. I went to Barry Miller to find out what my options were. He first and foremost stopped the garnishment. He then stopped the harassment. He then had my bankruptcy approved to give me some financial stability...

Let me start by saying I never write reviews; I expect good service from people i pay for it. That said, I fought Chase Bank for over 2 years - and was threatened and harassed til wits' end- until I got Barry involved. First off, he was able to explain what was going on, talked me out of bankruptc...
