Education Law and Negotiation Savior

I have known Dr. Savage for more than 21 years as we served together in the U.S. Marine Corps. It was no surprise that I found the good Doctor continues to exemplify bearing, tact, unselfishness, enthusiasm, excellent judgment, knowledge and spectacular professionalism. My child, a kindergartner,... was being repeatedly bullied on his school bus and in school and though the school district was put on notice, they failed to act, choosing to dismiss the incidents and parental complaints. It seemed the school district condoned the bullying and even facilitated it to some degree. The school, its administration and the board of education refused to even acknowledge our complaints. Dr. Savage and my family embarked upon a battle in Education Law with a school district. Dr. Savage successfully opened up a channel of communication with our impermeable school district and, with our intent to pursue a tort, effectively negotiated a settlement with the school that wholly benefitted our child. This involved touching an organization that believes itself to be untouchable. Dr. Savage cracked their shell through persistence and educated the educators on what is right, wrong and reasonable. He effectively communicated his clients were "fed up" and wanted what was in the best interests of their child and their child's educational experience. Dr. Savage negotiated a course of action that the school district typically avoids adding language to our settlement that effectively prohibits the school district from taking any kind of unilateral action against our child that is not first reviewed AND approved by the parents. Having had a career in the Superior Court of California as a court clerk and court manager in law and motion, small claims, civil, traffic and criminal courts, I have worked with thousands of lawyers over 15 years. I have seen the good, the experienced, the bad, and the neophyte. Without question, I would rank Dr. Savage among some of the finest lawyers I've known, personally and professionally.

Steve is a Life Saver

Over the past two years, Steve has helped me with an ongoing dispute with a collection agency. His approach is patient, practical, and professional. He is willing to whatever it takes to help his clients and won't stop until their issue is resolved. I would highly recommend Steve. He is a highly sk...illed and trustworthy attorney adept at handing a variety of cases, from civil to criminal.
