I hired Allison for my divorce and I am glad I did. My divorce was very complicated and I needed to get sole custody for the well-being of my children. It was a long and difficult role but having Allison on my side, made it much smoother. Allison knows her stuff!!! She is very honest and realistic.... If it is something worth fighting for, she is all in. She will do what's best for her client but keep it realistic. Advocates for her client and thinks logical without extreme emotion. I found Allison in my search for a lawyer who was trained in collaborative divorce. My ex husband and I are very amicable and did not need a long drawn out process to define our terms. Collaborative law allows you to pretty much do whatever you want that is agreeable to both parties and draws up a ...settlement agreement making sure you have not forgotten any important details. She was not interested in drawing out the process to make more money for herself and even told us that it was not necessary for her to go to the courthouse for the judge to sign the papers in an effort to save us both money. She is very straightforward and down to earth and I highly recommend her. However, I hope I never have opportunity to use her services again. Ha ha!

The best thing about Allison: unlike typical divorce attorneys, she will NOT provoke you deeper into conflict in order to profit from your misery. On the contrary: she will lay out what an expensive warlike divorce looks like, but because she puts the interests of you and your kids first, she advise...s you to take a more reasonable path even though she will make less money having you as a client. In other words, not only does she have very high professional standards but also moral and ethical standards as well. My case was a complicated one that involved some international jurisdiction, and almost all of the attorneys I called didn't want to bother because they didn't see how they could make a quick buck. Allison, on the other hand, had the patience to understand how she could be helpful and even offered a second consultation to assure me that she was the right fit. Also, she was professional enough to admit when she didn't have answers to complicated international questions and we worked through the difficult issues together. Finally, she was extremely generous with her time and prioritized my case when she had a plate overflowing with other work. I strongly recommend hiring Allison!

She let my ex take all my money from a joint account without going after it. Then, after trumping up and extra $1000 in costs when she was fired, she continues to charge me going forward. They will try to force you to sign something to waive all of your rights when they promise to only alleviate ...some usury interest in some trumped up costs.
