Allison handled my divorce and two subsequent mediations to resolve ongoing issues. She knows her job, keeps things reality-based and focused on results. She more than once told me that she was happy to listen to complaints about my ex- but that "we might be better served focusing on what we can get ...done"(!), which helped keep things on track. She understands how judges look at issues and fights your side aggressively. Highly recommended.

My experience was very negative with Allison. She was a poor communicatior. She didnt add any value to my case. The agreement was made by the opposing attorney. She didnt analyse properly and make changes to protect my interests .I had to do everything and she even made mistakes or left out key po...ints in the edit. The previous reviews about her being a poor communicator and cosy with the opposing attorney are spot on. She was very hard to reach by phone . We barely talked more than a few times the entire year and a half. She didnt even bother to record my mobile number many times.She wasted several emails asking for it when she could ahve easily looked it up. She made several mistakes in the documentation. From my initial consultation to the finalization of my divorce, Allison handled my case with an impressive level of proficiency, professionalism and attentiveness. From the onset, her knowledge and experience were evident. She even managed to accurately predict when my divorce would be finalized. ...The bulk of our contact was achieved via email, which proved to be the most efficient form of communication, considering my busy schedule. She always promptly responded to my questions or concerns. Even when I sent Allison emails outside of traditional business hours, she was certain to respond timely. Allison had a very practical approach to my case and never lost sight of the goal – to get me divorced sooner rather than later. She refrained from engaging in unproductive, useless, back and forth arguments with opposing counsel, but instead, kept her communication civil and direct. For most, divorce can be a highly emotional and contentious affair which can lead to irrational decisions, but Allison kept me grounded and levelheaded. On numerous occasions, she offered cost-effective advice and guidance. In my line of work, I am accustomed to seeing outrageous legal fees, but with Allison, her bills were justified. While I don’t ever intend on going through this ordeal again, I have no reservations with highly recommending Allison to anyone in need of an extremely competent divorce attorney.

I consulted Allison to get her professional opinion on the most cost effective way to handle my divorce. My divorce is not complicated, but my spouse is making it complicated given their opportunistic approach to handling our assets. She was able to clearly articulate what she believed would happen... if my spouse and I went the "formal" route vs. finding a solution that would not only save time but also money (both in legal fees and balancing the risk of them potentially getting access to more than what they was asking for). She clearly articulated all points and backed them up with examples. While the consultation was scheduled for an hour, I was in and out in half an hour and knew within the first five minutes that I found my "perfect" lawyer. Not only was she personable, spoke in a way that was easy to understand (unlike most lawyers who insist on speaking a different language), clearly articulated what next steps looked like, and provided an achievable timeline. Not only is she effective but efficient!
