Biography
Micaela opened her office in August of 1998 to serve the immigrant community.
Micaela was born in Cuba. As a child, she came to the United States as a refugee in 1970 on the Freedom Flights, which was the largest airborne refugee operation in American history. She was raised in Hudson County. She graduated from Drew University with a degree in political science. She worked in Corporate America for four years before going to law school. She received her J.D. from the Ohio State College of Law. She served on the Hudson Community College Board of Trustees from November 1998 to January 2003. She has been participating in the Cooperative Business Education Program with the High Schools in Hudson County for more than 20 years. Micaela served as a panelist on the Matrimonial Early Settlement Program of Hudson County.
