Mr. Tawil and the firm Budd Larner is horribly inept at navigating the process of divorce. Mr. Tawil's firm represented that they were versed in New York State matrimonial process but nothing could be further from the truth. They counseled me to accept a lousy Pendente Lite agreement for support an...d equitable distribution, ran my bill up well into 6 figures putting multiple attorneys on my very basic divorce knowing the situation would never allow me to pay their fees; they were never able to negotiate with the adversary, never brought my case to trial and then abandoned me to fend for myself in front of an emergency order. This firm's actions border on malpractice, while Mr. Tawil is a cog in the machine, he has a fiduciary responsibility to his client to properly handle their case. Shame on Budd Larner and it's partners, they shouldn't be practicing in New York State. If I could give them NEGATIVE 5 stars I would.

Since he knew that "number crunching" was not my strong suit, he always made the time to meet with me, walk me through all of the parameters and ensure that I was fully comfortable with the ongoing proceedings. I knew that I could fully trust him, and his work and dedication made me feel very comfortable and secure in my position. Always up on recent laws and statutory changes, David successfully lead and advised our adversary in our many mediation sessions, and ensured that the changes to New Jersey law did not negatively impact my final settlement. Finally, myself being an attorney, I was not an easy client. David was a true friend and advisor during my four year process. He always listened and gave me heartfelt advice that would help me along in the process and helped me determine strategies to gain advantage in my settlement. I am beyond pleased with the terms of my settlement and would happily refer any friend or family member to use David Tawil.
