Mr. Rubenstein wouldn't let the insurance company bully us nor him. He fought for what was just. The insurance company was ordered to pay us workman's compensation plus a portion of our fee because Mr. Rubenstein made sure they were reprimanded for their unscrupulous tactics. Even after the trial he ...offered help to seek out college scholarships for my children. He is kind to his clients, tough on his opponents and a man of morals.

03/15/2011 I hurt my shoulder at work. Richard Rubenstein got me weekly checks very quickly, I needed rotator cuff surgery and Rick helped me continue to get checks until the doctor said I had to return to work even though I was not fully recovered. I would work 1 or 2 days and the pain was so great... I had to take a day off in between. This kept happening I was favoring my right shoulder getting up and down off the truck and carrying bundles of newspapers. Then on 06/03/2012 I twisted my right knee while going to the back of the truck. I quickly contacted Richard and he said no problem. Rick explained the law to me and put my mind at ease. He explained that he was going to combine both cases. Once again he got me the maximum %80 of my weekly salary and I was able to get to doctors and rehab without worrying about paying the bills. I asked the Insurance Company's doctor for a knee replacement surgery (so I could return to my job) and they said no! I was not able to return to my old position of working on a truck. I asked the Daily News to put me on light duty I new they had jobs I could do but they refused. I had to go on Social Security Disability and early retirement from my union. Richard explained what he was doing every step of the way. The Daily News Insurance company examined me and saw I could no longer work on a truck. But the Daily News and Liberty Mutual did not want to settle the case. On March 25 of this year Richards office called and said to come to workers compensation court. Richard Rubenstein put together a deal that was beyond my wildest dreams. He got the Daily News, Liberty Mutual and the New Jersey District Attorney (Workers Compensation) to agree to a deal to all contribute to a settlement which gives me %80 of my full salary for the rest of my life. The judge commended him on the record for his hard work and diligence in getting all parties to agree. I have gotten lump sum checks for retroactive monies from the dates of my injuries and I will never have to worry about money again. All thanks to Richard (Rick) Rubenstein!
