My housemate and I hired this person to represent (we can't even make out who she was representing) us in a horrible homophobic saga in Jersey City. First let me start by saying, she has no office that we ver went to. She conducts her "business" in a public room to a condo. Making her, IMO, an ally... lawyer. She doesn't even have a storefront! She doesn't return calls and she takes other client calls while we were on her clock. She would discuss personal issues with us, like her daughter having self-esteem issues. Now, I am quite compassionate, but what does her personal life have to do with my case?! She takes notes on pieces of paper and consequently forgets what our previous meeting @300 an hour were all about. She said she was going to counter a suit which I was being issued and she did not! She sent subpoenas out to people whom I identifies and made her aware of, were hostile witnesses. But, she never subpoenaed the ones whom I expressly told her (and I have text and email evidence of what I am saying) were going to be useful. I can go on about her unprofessionalism, but you can get the point. Lstly, she is representing people from LGBTQ community and she took offense when I pointed out to her that she had the acronyms wrong, by saying..."well, I don't know" !!! Instead of I'm sorry can you please educate me so that I get it right? And there was the retainer which I want back in full, because she made me loose my lawful time to file for a counter. She told me that I would get 1600$ back and that the funds would be available at the the end of October, due to her accounting. On October 31, I texted to find out when the moneys would be available and her response was..., "I'm away and you cannot give me such short notice" I made my request on October 3 and she told me at the end of October. It took her until November 12 to have the check cut for me and it was for 1500$!! She had the mitigated gull to tell me that she was returning this as a favor. In conclusion, run from this "lawyer" and don't look back, or you may as well toss your money out the window. Horrible, self indulged and unprofessional.

In going through my divorce, Corinne was repeatedly missed deadlines, did not communicate, made false promises and would disappear for weeks and months on end. So much so that I ended up giving up on her, despite having paid for her services in full. Don't be fooled by the first in person meeting... where she seems understanding, compassionate and competent. She puts on a great show but didn't deliver on a single thing that was promised.

Where Corinne did ultimately get me favorable results regarding the lien on my home that was released, honestly it was a bit painful at times waiting for feedback from her. Some of it I am sure was my perception and perhaps expectations for a follow up that were somewhat aggressive, but that being sa...id, I would be less than honest if I didn't add this bit of a disclaimer to my endorsement. Even still, the ultimate results of Corinne's efforts were favorable.
