Hello.. I am writing this review for my attorney Christine Lynn landis. I was at a point in my life when things were really going horrible. I was in a nightmare situation being charged with larceny facing serious time. I was 17 yrs old when my troubles began. I was used and betrayed by a man that... I thought loved me. He abused me and had me living in constant fear for my life. After 2 terrifying years of verbal mental physical and sexual abuse I finally had a chance to escape him. During those 2 yrs I was forced to committed acts out of fear. I knew that one day these choices would catch up to me but I was too afraid to face them. Once I fled the state trying to get as far away from him as possible and try to rebuild my life. I started working.. Seeking counselling.. And reconnecting with my family.. Then one day going to work the taxi I was in was pulled over by the police. The officer said the drivers light was broken and he asked me for my I. D. He ran my name and a warrant for my arrest showed up from 2 yrs ago. Now all my fears were awoken again. I was arrested and trasfered to Connecticut where my crime was committed and many people associated with my abuser. I had no money and no-one to help me in this horrifying predicament. My mother searching for help for young girls who were sex trafficked found Christine. From the first meeting I had with Christine she helped comfort me. She spoke to me as a caring and understanding woman who felt my pain and hardship and genuinely wanted to help me. From her first involvement in my case she improved my circumstances. I didn't have bail money. And she pleaded my case to get me out. She kept in contact with me regularly informing me of what was before me. She would always give me the positive and the negative of my case. She didn't hold anything back. And even if things weren't looking too well.. She still gave me encouragement and hope. Now yesterday I received the best news that my case was closed. I'm so happy and grateful to Christine for all her help and support. For anybody being arrested it is a scary thing.
