Biography
Rute Mendes Caetano is a partner with the firm and has been practicing with Ventura Law since 2004, where she currently concentrates in Personal Injury.
Attorney Caetano also concentrates part of her practice in representing victims in sexual assault and molestation cases in the criminal courts as well as representing the families of people who have passed due to the negligence of others.
Attorney Caetano has worked closely with the Brazilian Consulate General in Hartford providing counsel and legal advice in various matters. Attorney Caetano has been heavily involved with the Portuguese Cultural Center, Danbury CT, where she served as President of the Board of Trustees. Attorney Mendes is also involved with her alma mater, Western Connecticut State University, where she has participated as an Advisor to the Mock Trial class in the Justice and Law Department and the Mock Trial presentation for the Justice and Law Club and currently sits on the Board of Directors for the Alumni Association and participated in the Entering the Gates Ceremony welcoming new students.
Attorney Caetano has been a seminar presenter for the Connecticut Trial Lawyers Association and she received the Pro Bono Award from the Danbury Bar Association in 2012. Attorney Mendes is currently on the Board of Directors for the Regional YMCA of Western Connecticut and also has received the honor of being named one of the "Top 40 under 40" by the National Trial Lawyers Association.

Helpful
The process of the case was longer than I expected. But Rute really fought for me and was able to get me as much settlement as possible. I was very pleased. In addition she was very friendly and cared for my overall well-being.
